It has a really charming setting and characters, the first person dungeons are also quite fun.

It's just the battle system that's a bit clunky and barebones but if you like exploration and cyberpunk you might enjoy the whole package enough to go through it.

Rangda is also good. Reflects physical damage. I managed to beat Shido with it by the skin of my teeth... Everyone wiped even after Futaba replaced them, MC last one standing, Shido in last form, at last 15 percent of his health, MC has half HP remaining... Used Life Stones for 5 turns while having Rangda out, he literally beat himself to death. I lost my shit when his HP heart finally smashed after it reflected his first attack. God damn it felt good.

I really liked gimmicky boss fights in Nocturne, that's why I liked the DeSu games so much too. SMTIV/A boss fights all felt kinda the same, specially by the mid-end game.

The negotiations in IV:A were quite good too. I remember once when I tried to talk to a female demon who was supposedly communicating with the Expanse and didn't pay attention to me. One of the options was to scold her, so I did and she was like "no one ever did that to me", blushed and left. Afterwards I talked to another one of those and it was her saying "hey uh...can I join you?".
I loved it.
