Floors 51-60 syncs you around the 60-70 range. Personally I'd just run 51-100 runs since it also gives you a potsherd everytime you clear the 100th floor. Little exp lost and mindless grinding of one floor set isn't wort it for me

That's already sort of happening with moving to doma and having you help the resistance and shifting focus fully to fighting the empire and not on the scion storyline. But it' final fantasy you're always going to be the hero not just some npc.

Have you've ever actually done it for leveling? It's insanely fast, especially compared to dungeon queues as a DPS. You basically get a entire level 1-50, and a good chunk 50-60.

You get more XP/hr than dungeons or quests if you work with a pre-made group or get good groups that skip chests. Hell, it's probably still faster even if your group goes for chests.

Unless you're talking about roulette, PoTD will generally give more XP/Hr if you doing with a fast group.


Roulettes > Group PoTD > PoTD >= Dungeons With Groups > Solo dungeons


Though some dungeons do give more XP though, Gubal Library has one of the highest XP payouts out of all the HW dungeons if I recall.


But a lot of ARR dungeons take a fucking long time compared to a run of PoTD. Especially Toto-Rak and AV.


And while some dungeons do give more XP than PoTD, if you're a solo DPS, it's just straight up faster to get a PoTD queue than it is a dungeon queue unless you're lucky.

Level 1-50, by clearing 10 floors of PoTD, you get a almost entire level. Every ARR dungeon takes longer than a session of PoTD assuming you have a group that isn't retarded.

Especially due to earlier levels of ARR content, where your skills are limited. Toto-rak is a especially notable slog to get through.

I do agree that 50-60, PoTD gives less XP compared to dungeons. However, if you pair up with a matched party and go through 51-70 over and over again and speedrun it, it will be faster compared to dungeon running.

But honestly, it's probably best to do both, since you'll be burnt out of PoTD if you keep doing over and over again.
