I bought Binding of Isaac new when it came out, I enjoyed it well enough. It was alright. Played a couple dozen hours of it. Saw most of the content.

Since then, I've played most of the games like it and enjoyed them all (I'm particularly fond of Our Darker Purpose)....

Newer content and newer bosses are balanced in such a way with extremely diluted item pools however, that I get a run that just isn't worth trying. Even if I CAN beat it, spending 90 minutes on an incredibly boring and slow run that feels like pulling my teeth out with a plastic fork is just not worth it to me.

I'd love to see the Antibirth team give justice to what the Void/Delirium chapter could have been. As much as I like the Corpse/Witness fight it was just a non-canon "dream lol" ending.

The Void is an incredibly interesting concept that ties perfectly with the last few moments of Isaac's story but so horribly executed that it makes me feel fucking delirious. I just hope going forward they try their hand at their own Void instead of scrapping for their own idea.

"The Void" is actually a great concept for a floor and so is Delerium for a final FINAL boss. But unfortunately they took the laziest approach ever to the design and execution that it ends up feeling like a hack job.

I think the final ending is great, it's a great send-off to Isaac and it really deserved a better execution than it got, as it stands it certainly is cheap and dumb looking. But if they actually put work into it, that could have been a great thematic final floor.

Because of steam shenanigans, i actually payed like 3 dollars for this steak and ITS NOT WORTH IT.

and even then im tempted to refund, which i will not because refunding 3 dollars is stupid and i used a debit card

The Edmund has systematically made things "harder" and by harder I mean done nothing for broken builds, and made builds where you don't get OP items take fucking forever.

You can win with base isaac sure, but shit takes so long its not even worth it.

When you have the very real possibility of getting a Ragman on level 1 with no upgrades to damage or tear rate you may as well reset because its not worth the time to kill him.

Edmund has no idea what made isaac fun, and that's very, very apparent now.
