it's just a bad idea, you want your emunand completely seperate from your sysnand. that way, if something goes wrong with your emunand, which is the only one you should be fucking with from now on and installing cias to, your sysnand is safe.

I downloaded Yoshi's New Island just to see if it was actually as bad as everyone said it was.

Holy fuck. The music is worse than I thought, and the controls are abysmal. Yoshi moves like he is constantly underwater and eggs have like a 1 second delay before shooting off when you let go of aim.

Literally the fucking worst. How do you fuck up this badly? The whole thing seems like a damn joke... I could program and Yoshi's Island game better than this shit.

Well not only will exploit probably be patched but the current downgrader sometimes has a hiccup and you're semi-bricked. To save your 3DS you have to go into recovery mode which updates to the latest released firmware, so your safety net is also gone. That's why I decided to hack my main 3DS, as well.

So I've just done the downgrade step as set out in OP's pastebin, and I think something's wrong. Basically the downgrade seems to have worked (It says the 9.2 version) but I can't seem to boot up the 2DS when the SD card is inserted, only when I've taken the card out.

Is this the semi-bricked state which means I have to start again? Or is this something else on top of that

I had my Nands unlinked, could boot up HBL with the L button, Injected FBI onto the H And S app. I followed the retards guide and came across a problem no one else seemed to have. Emunand9 just would not dump sysNand at all. Used Gateway and it only got messier from there...

I'm waiting for a 3DS emulator. Not even gonna pay a single cent to Nintendo for their shitty burger king toy console, even if they sold it for 20 bucks it holds no value of fun compared to my PSP 3000 or my Vita

It's pretty good even if you're not a gear head. I've watched everything but the final season and enjoyed it all for the most part. Animation for the first season is kind of rough, but if you're used to older 80s-90s animation you won't mind it a bit.

If you do give it a go make sure season 1 is actually using eurobeat. I don't remember if it was a specific dub or localization but there's a version of season 1 that doesn't have its original eurobeat soundtrack.

1. The hblauncher cia is trying to open boot.3dsx which is probably ctrbootmanager. Hex edit the hblauncher payload to look for your homebrew launcher 3dsx. Name it bhbl.3dsx or something else 4 characters.

2. Launch homebrew browser in emunand and use chmm2 to apply themes. Make sure you're not in sysnand or this will break menuhax. If you need a theme in sysnand use tinker.

Is the clock speed tweak on HANS useful at all? I've tried it with Cave Story, it gives shorter load screens, same with Metal Gear 3D except it also kills the compatibility with the nub of the N3DS.

I've tried running sys updater like fifty times and it's a no-go every time. I've tried entering and exiting the brony app, I've tried redownloading sys updater, I even got that version that checks the md5s of your 9.2 files before downgrading, no dice on any of them. Sys updater freezes up when I hit Y and nothing happens.

Is this normal, or is it possible I'm doing something wrong? Do I just keep at it?
