Part of me wants to boot up STALKER again considering I haven't played for about a year. And with a good 3000 hours into the three games, The Zone is really calling my name and has been for a long while now.

It's just, I've got a kid now, she takes time. I can be consumed by The Zone completely as I become every time I play STALKER, I need to remember to feed my daughter now and considering I rarely remember to feed myself when playing STALKER, it just doesn't feel like a good idea, and I doubt Vodka and Sausage is a good diet for a girl at barely 2 years.

I'm 30 and played almost every FPS ever.

Not a lot of games have realistic sights thought.

I was into Rising Storm for a while and obviously I understand that distance effects the drop so you need to aim higher, the further away it is.

The only issue I didn't understand completely was if you had to have a general idea of initial distance to dial in your sights.

Like with artillery, you'd fire a round and then use that to zero.

Basically you align until the front sight is in the middle of the rear ring sight. With the garand you adjust the rear sight with knobs for different distant. Like left knob to 2 if target is at 200 yards. Right knob is for wind.
