Yeah it was. It was a good closing chapter on the series, and its a shame we never got an english release back in the SNES days.
For those not in the know:
One thing that was kinda cool about 3 was that Donald and Mickey had alternate abilities which could compliment each other, allowing for great co-op if you had a competent partner.
Early example: Mickey's knight armor would sink in water, but donald's knight "armor" was a fucking barrel which would float in water and mickey could ride on top of it.
Even the attacks could be different. Again, relating to the knight costume, mickey had a lance which could attack in directions, but donald had a hammer which swung in an arc.

MQ2/GCM is okay, but it lacks the same punch as the first and third. It does a few interesting things though, and while the cowboy costume takes getting used to, it's pretty cool to mess around with, and the tackle is pretty strong.

Put Mario 64 and Mickey Mouse together and you got gold
