Pokemon is literally the same game rebranded every time. Starters, eight badges, box legend team fight, elite four.

Pokemon is casual through and through, and has no respect for its older fans other than HERES A GAME YOU PLAYED 20 YEARS AGO AND CAN DOWNLOAD FOR FREE ANYWHERE. Digimon has difficulty options, new game plus, extensive care taking systems, etc. it doesnt always work but it has the balls to not play it safe. Pokemon has no backbone, it's the equivalent of the Queen of England. It has the title, but what the fuck does it have to show for it?

Ah, the new digimon world was pretty good, it'll never touch the same nerve the original did for me though. I loved how that game didn't hold your hand.
