Nothing in game majorly changes. And the shit pawns are still feasible for combat. However you won't see any of the creative pawns others have to offer, like an Eliminator Warrior, or edgy dark magic lolis. The post game area, Bitterblack Isle can be a grind for RC, which you can normally get from there renting your pawns. You need RC to get the best items in game. But you could make it if you run through the entirety of BBI once in a while.

Having a customizable sorcerer seems like a good idea since you never really know what the fuck other people are using, while fighters are kinda always the same. However I think that having a fighter pawn learning from you and shit could be more useful.

This shit is CPU intensive to play back, most people have two ears and 32-bit depth is overkill if anything was.

Devs need to make proper audio engines instead so you'll have full 3D sound with just stereo headphones or speakers.
