There's also a google doc about where all the royalty-free music in 100% Orange Juice was sourced from, and the choice of that seems to come more from orange_juice than Fruitbat Factory. The music sources were pretty varied, but I don't recall the link.

As a result, someone just rounded them up and republished the soundtrack on 100%'s discussion board.

Yes, the characters all have their own style of play, despite being a rather flat board game, so there's a lot of variety to the characters. I recommend not buying the DLC or anything until you clear at least one campaign. Tips to make it go faster: Ctrl and Shift both work as speedup buttons. Holding them gives you an insane speed increase to grind through the monotony of the campaign. The story bits themselves are actually kind of amusing.

It's a bit boring. Playing with people is where a lot of the fun is at, but you need to be aware that this is the point where joinng the steam group and playing with 4chan is a good thing. It's pretty well controlled, whereas outside of the group are a bunch of kids or chuunibyou motherfuckers.

The single player is easily the weaker part of the game. It's just a whole lot more fun when you can share the pain with three real players, and the AI cheats like a bandit in the later stages.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad, but the multiplayer is just so much more amusing

It doesn't have minigames like Mario Party, instead battles between players are decided with dice rolls and the game has a deck of cards that each have special effects you can use (each player contributes cards to the deck before the match starts)

Each character has different base stats that affect their performance in battle and a special card unique to that character, some characters also have built-in special properties to differentiate them

It's really the kind of game where you'll thrive if you like being as much of an asshole as possible and you don't mind dice rolls + card draws having a big influence on the outcome, you don't want to take it too serious

I've played xcom to hell and back. I'm used to RNG buttraping me.

Anything that can go wrong will go wrong 90% of the time even if it only has 1% chance of going wrong. It's evil.

I should also note that a lot of the characters are unlocked either through playing singleplayer (it's the same as MP but you play against CPUs, the game always has 4 players total) or through DLC (most of them are in packs of 2 characters for $2 USD, only 3 of them right now are bonuses you get for buying another Fruitbat Factory game on Steam)

You also start out with a basic set of cards but you can get more with ingame currency that you gain through playing SP or MP, I believe the base game has around 40 different cards total (not counting each character's unique "hyper card" which the game puts in the deck for you so you can't purchase those) and I think at least 20 more with the card pack DLC

If you don't have a particular character or card you're still able to play against people who have them, you just can't pick that character or put that card in the deck yourself (there are ways to steal cards from opponents which give you the occasional chance to use the DLC cards anyway)

The game's pace is fairly fast, at speed 4 each player's turn takes around 5-15 seconds and in my experience an average game with players who know what they're doing takes about 20 minutes

Guys I haven't played OJ since the Dapper Poppo event since I wanted to beat the STGs and whatnot first, which I haven't been able to due to being shit. Anything neat change since then? I already bought the new DLC.

The DLC content can only be obtained through purchasing it, the majority of the characters and cards in the game are plain old unlockables however and there is no DLC for stages (I forget whether you start off being able to pick all of them or some are unlocks)

One of the downsides of the game is that new cards are obtained randomly as if you're buying a starter pack for a TCG, you earn ingame currency (stars) through playing SP or MP then spend it on the "basic" or "advanced" card options in the ingame item shop to get a random card (you can have up to 9 of each card in your portfolio but you're only allowed to put up to 3 of the same card in the deck and for some it's even fewer--again one of the dumber design decisions in the game)

Non-DLC unlockable characters won't appear in the shop until you've played SP enough to unlock them, fortunately it's really easy to Cheat Engine if you're so inclined and whiz through SP while giving yourself a ton of stars (the game has VAC but it does not care if you cheat single player mode, only MP)

There is also ingame EXP you can gain through both SP and MP (only affects buying certain items that are locked by level) and cosmetic items (color costume packs and decorative hats which you can either buy or earn randomly as item drops after each match)

Really, the programmer had no idea, not even a concept how to set it up, so when I suggested breaking the maps file (was just one before) into seperate files so it can read more as they're added for workshop, it was implemented almost immediately I guess.

I realize this game is really too random to have a true tier list, but it just seems like she has so much shit going against her sometimes. This is especially true on certain maps where you have to not only battle other players, but fight against field events like Charity - which fucks her hyper, and Battlefield - which makes it hard to collect stars without risking dying due to shitty battle stats.

Due to RNG she can still win though. I like playing her, but she just seems more risky than a lot of other characters
