so quick question. I got everything to work but i was wondering about Monster Hunter X. There are three links one for the 1.1 update and the others are Monster Hunter X - Online-Ready (JAP-ENG 7.0) and Monster Hunter X - Online Patched (JAP-ENG 7.0). So do i install the online ready and then the online patch?

I just can't get it running. I've tried ironhax, browserhax, menuhax. i tried booting ftp and turning netloader on and I still can't get sysupdater running. it just stays on this screen and i can't press any buttons. what gives?

Is menuhax and browserhax supposed to not work after you downgrade? I'm not sure what to do to get the homebrew launcher back.

I downgraded to 9.2 without issues but now I'm trying to get homebrew going again but nothing happens when I load the Browserhax URL, and when I try to open Ironfall I just get stuck on the loading screen.

Any solutions to either of these?

There isn't too much to risk updating emunand. Even if you fuck up emunand you can just reformat emunand and start over. What you don't want to do is update sysnand.

When you update your system ONLY do so by pressing settings on the home screen. Make sure the version number says something related to emunand (for rxTools, that's RX-X or something). Otherwise you are updating sysnand and fucking yourself from running exploits.

It's pretty ez m8. Just use the Health and Safety app to install CIA files - as easy as pressing A on them and waiting. You probably would've injected the FBI program into Health and Safety during whatever tutorial you were following.

Some DLC or Updates won't work through that (although I haven't had any issue yet) so you might have to use BigBlue/DevMenu. Haven't had to use it myself yet but it's not too hard to use.

Don't know if this will work for you but it worked for me after trying for two hours with no luck a few days ago.

The problem was I was using the d-pad to scroll up and over to the slider bar.

When you use the qr code/enter the website, use ONLY the stylus to zoom in and scroll over to the top left of the page. After that just tap anywhere on the right side of the bar and it should work. At least it did for me every single time.

You upgrade to a nightly build/3.0 find one that works for you, setup menuhax for sysnand, install ctrbootmanager/whatever bootmanager you want, done. Remove themes if unlinked nands and voila. They're not really that similar outside of the first glance. Yokai Watch is less about catching em' all and has a stronger emphasis on the story and quests with a lot more freedom in-between. Battles are also automated and you have little control over them such as being able to swap out your Yokai, use items, select targets, and tell a Yokai to use its super attack. They attack on their own though.

It's not as bad as it sounds. There's a button to speed things up too so battle go by pretty fast. You can still tell your team which enemies to target so they take out the dangerous ones first and bosses even have gimmicks where you have to target certain body parts to make them vulnerable.

Plus you have to constantly swap out Yokai to deal with status effects to unseal them and there's other shit going on like bonus orbs that float around that you can hit with your stylus for extra bonuses. It can actually get pretty hectic.

Get svdt for the Homebrew Launcher on sysNAND

Backup save with svdt (it will create a svdt folder on your SD card)

Install savedatafiler cia on emuNAND

Create a sava data (launch the game and save to create one) of the game on your emuNAND

Backup the fresh emuNAND save with savedatafiler so it creates the right ID folder. You'll have to figure out which ID is for the game. It doesn't label them like svdt does.

Copy the save from the game folder inside of the svdt folder on your SD card to the ID number folder for the game in the filer folder (overwrite the savadatafiler backup files since it was a fresh save)

Launch savedatafiler and restore the backup that you made with svdt with savedatafiler (you should have overwrite your savadatafiler backup with the one you made with svdt earlier)

That's the way I did it... only way I could find. There may be an easier way, but it works.
