I was going to go hard into 3DS homebrew a day ago while reading through the guides but then I realized

The 3DS doesn't even have that many games I'm interested in.

I bought Kid Icarus Uprising and it controls like shit so I'm waiting to play it on Citra with a real controller, bought Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and haven't touched it, bought Mario Kart 7 only to find it was a fucking dirge and then Smash which ended up being fine if not a bit underwhelming. So one whole game so far along with some roms I bought of old nes games on the e-shop.

What else is there even? I don't care about monster hunter, I'll wait to play Ocarina&Majora remakes on Citra, don't really care about 3D Land... the ONLY thing I'm actually looking forward to on 3DS is Dragon Quest 7 & 8 at this point so I'll just buy those when they come out.

Though if they somehow end up coming out/being better on mobile like 4, 5 and 6 then maybe I'll just throw my 3DS in the dumpster.

This is why Im pirating. Why should I wait till February to play Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon for instance when the US has had it out for ages? My point was that the gateway coming out jump started the whole scene. And I'm talking about the 4.5 exploit, which is different from downgrading from 9.2 to 4.5. The exploit already existed for 4.5 that allowed emunand and then tools came out that allowed people to downgrade to 4.5 and then later emunand past 4.5 was supported. This whole thing comes and goes in cycles. My shit has been exploited and I've been running backups for at least a year now I believe.

What is Nintendo actually patching in a week? Will downgrading from 9.9-10.3 be impossible or is it just one of multiple exploits they're blocking?
