The story is shit, and the rpg mechanics and what not may be shit, they may have fucked the lore up the ass, but it's still a decent fps game if you can ignore the other shit. They should seriously just switch to making linear FPS games, they'd be significantly better at that if they just put in some effort. Of course then they would lose their meme audience, so that most likely won't happen.
