Okay, first off I have to say that I just got Fallout 4 and have played a solid 48 hours and am having a blast. I can't stop playing, but I know that many people either hate it or are extremely dissapointed in it. I'm not easily bothered by things so when the game crashes or if there's a bug, it doesn't really bother me and the graphics I could't care two shits about, unless they're like N64 worthy. So I wanted to here /v/'s opinion on why they hate or love fallout 4.

Stories and most npcs are shit, a few companions are good but the game lacks any real depth. Systems and writing are a dissapointing step down from New Vegas, though the power armor was nice.

Yeah I could understand the NPCs but I thought the story was enjoyable. I never felt like I was being dragged on to do the main mission but the little terminal stories in all the buildings is what really got me.

It's a shitty shooter with RPG elements. The same is true for 3 and NV, yet we let those get a pass for whatever reason, especially New Vegas.
