Basically yes. Honestly one of the most well-realized games to have ever been made, across all aspects. Gameplay, graphics, soundtrack, story, multiplayer, even the glitchy shit was charming when it appeared. My favorite game of all time.

Nobody can challenge RDR in terms of an open world Wild West but there's other genres and directions you could go in, look at CoJ Gunslinger, one of the best arcade shooters I can think of in forever.
