What we have to do to get more polymorph/transformation stuff in games? It could work as a great gameplay or story element, it could give an opportunity to inflict extreme sense of helplessness on the player, or it could give us a new way to mess with our enemies. Literally endless possibilities.

You're a furry.
What games actually do this?
>FF has toad and imp as status effects
>Kid Icarus has Eggplant Wizards
>Zelda has unwilling transformations as a plot point in MM and TP
I just want a spell that allows me to turn my enemies into a ridable mounts, preferably with mind control or brainwashing as part of it.

Zelda also has Bunny Link in Link to the Past.
It's only a good thing when you can fuck with your enemies, otherwise it's annoying as shit.
Most recent example I can recall was Dragon's Crown, turning enemies into frogs.
Anyone else find those FF VI Imp transformations surprisingly cute and likable? Too bad that they don't actually look like that in the game.

Nah, I'd find it refreshing if we could have some parts in games where you would get temporarily turned into something so weak that you couldn't defend yourself. Could make for some interesting stealth and avoidance gameplay and work as a counterpoint for dull power fantasy bullshit.
The Witch and The Hundred Knight have transformation as a gag.
Also Dragon Quest V and VIII deal with inanimate and animal/monster transformation as plot points.
The Banjo-Kazooie games had tons of this too.
>polymorph someone into animal
>kill them and take their meat
>eat it

I hate the fact that they never had Link in a similar Imp form that Midna was in. Could have been much more fun than the Wolf form.
