The controller design is fine, the construction quality is so poor even the Chinese would be embarrassed by it. I do not know a person who has owned one of these controllers that didn't have issues with it.

Most common is just the flimsy as fuck plastic the controller is made of. It feels flimsy and the side panels in particular tend to move around a lot and even creak.
Other common problems are triggers that either click when pressed in or feel sticky. Buttons that feel sticky. And the micro-usb port can easily become misaligned with the case. Lots of people report the micro-usb port just failing after a short time too.

Google "xbox one controller poor quality". These kinds of issues and more are common as fuck. The above ones are all ones I've experienced in 2 years which is why I know about them.

I'm the one that made the post about using xbone controller on my PC, and this is true, I have 3 Xbone controllers, and one of them got sticky grip on the left analog stick for no reason like after a fucking month of having it and now its collecting dust, while my 2 360 controller survived till 2013 in a perfect state.

I enjoy it. Gears of war is loads of fun, and once backwards compatibility gets going i can play all my old 360 games. Plus I enjoy Halo and dont see much for me on ps4 besides bloodborne
