Rush through it, in 1/2 playthroughs if possible. It has flaws and /v/ hates it (mainly because of the combat), but I liked it, the story is, good despite the cluster fuck ending.

It's simple, what makes a game is "terrible" or not is subjective.
Also, only /v/ really hates bioshock infinite. Anywhere else on the internet they're gonna say its either a bit mediocre or (like most) say it's one of the best games ever or some shit.

I play a lot of awful anime games but even those games will improve if they get sequels.
Bioshock Infinite is worse than 2 in almost every way. Even if you like the story there's some stupid shit like the section where all those people are freaking out because they're dead in another reality, with infinite realities every character in the game should be dimension sick like that.
The shooting is worse than previous games, weapon upgrades are far less interesting, you can hold fewer weapons than before, and there are no longer ammo types.
Plasmids are worse. They no longer have multiple charge levels, upgrades are more damage/lower cost, and almost all of them are just different ways to stun bad guys. Even unique powers like posession are bad because you're stuck looking at an enemy you need to kill to move forward and you can't do anything to them until the power's duration ends.
And the levels are more linear which wouldn't be so terrible if it wasn't for sidequests that make you run all the way to the beginning of a level without any kind of shortcuts or anything. They're also pretty boring and it's easy to predect when you're going to get into a big shootout. Every combat area is right next to ammo store and usually skyrails which serve no purpose aside from getting invincibility from your magic pants during combat. You never use them to navigate a level unless that area is a big combat arena.

Super easy, fun as hell game. It holds your hand more than any other game Ive played. I love it.

To add, the graphics/art design are nothing short of beautiful and it runs amazingly well on PC. 60fps with ZERO hiccups.
