They don't want to die. They don't spend every day of their lives wishing they could die. But going into battle, and dying honorably is one way to get into Sovngarde as a Nord.

Sovngarde is also reserved for the greatest warriors and must get past Tsun to even get into Shor's hall. It is not the standard afterlife for most Nords.

indeed, its about how its incredibly easy to think of a reason why you would want to die. Didnt think it was necessary to relate it to nords when it was already described how dying in battle is actually gaining immortality in their own beliefs. how about a more religious example? a christian is given the choice to fight, or flee to certain death. what does he choose? fight. willingly choosing a path that can only lead to death would be suicide. suicide bars you from heaven. murder is okay in self defense but disliked, and being killed isnt suicide. so a proper christian ( never seen one ) would fight and hope he was killed before he killed. there. wanting to die in battle, thats not insane ( well, being religious as a whole is a different topic for later ).

Not really the same but you are on the right path. It is more like saying someone "clumsily fell down the stairs" does not mean that person is clumsy, it means they did something clumsy.

Autism is a little different because it is a medical diagnosis but "autistically" could be taken to mean "in the manner of a person with autism."

For your example to match you would have to have said "like someone with autism" instead of "autistically."

It's literally whatever Dragonborn himself wants, the same goes for all the people who live on Mundus
You can't actually sell your soul unless you actually bind your soul or fucking rip it out
You can't actually belong to a Daedric prince unless he taints you with Lycanthropy or something
Every mortal or immortal being at that matter has full control over his soul unless he fucking just hands out his soul to someone physically
When a guy goes to Shivering Isles it's because he was a mad fuck that worshiped Sheogorath and he himself thought that he would go to Sheo in afterlife, so when he died and his Animus left his body he just sort of phased to Oblivion

Stormfag rebellion was still weak before Skyrim main quest begins (it's just that they didn't manage to represent how the rebellion is growing other than the people saying that). So when Ulfric was sneaky travelling with his relatively small band of guards to Darkwater Crossing Tullius with help of his spies located him and captured him, him and couple of other fags near the Darkwater Crossing, including you and that thief.

But the BIGGEST CITIES IN SKYRIM had like 3 residential houses, 3 shops, 1~2 inns/taverns, 1 special building, 1 purchasable house, a 'palace', MAYBE 1 guildhall, and MAYBE a barracks.

Vivec had 8 cantons. Almost every canton had a plaza which contained noble houses, shops, sometimes guildhalls, special buildings like telvanni temporary housing, pubs/cornerclubs, and such. They had waistworks with 2~5 shops of varying sorts. Canalworks had anything from shops to some random guy living there, to burial chambers/dungeons. Underworks were mostly fluff but some had special things like the dark brotherhood sanctuary, but just the fact that they exist adds some depth to the game world. Several cantons had residential homes along the sides you could enter.

Some cantons had special areas like the library, the temple, halls of wisdom/justice, an arena, barracks, etc.

Multiply the content of one canton by 8 and you have vivec, not to mention some of the neat things not inside like the boats that take you around vivec, the shrines near the temple, the ministry of truth floating above the city.

Oblivion had the Imperial City. Although it wasn't all that fascinating, it was still huge and split off into several sections.

Skyrim gave us Solitude.

Bottom pic obviously not solitude but not my image.

It would never sell to normals. In 2001 it would have passed off as a great idea but the technology limitations and leveling system would make the game bland if not for some sort of story to focus on. In 2006 it may have worked as a passable experiment. Now it will never, ever fly. Not with the massive sales of Skyrim and the facts that the target audience is nonfans, and that Zenijews are now pulling the strings more tightly that the brand become a financial giant.

I haven't encountered a single game breaking bug in a Bethesda game.

What do you mean presumably stuck? I've had the carts bug out to the point where they were flipping the fuck out and actually killed a couple of bystanders and the horse pulling it doesn't give a fuck and goes where it was scripted to.

The entire sequence continued with no problems past when Alduin appears since the carts are removed at that point anyways.

What the fuck, man? In Bulgaria wherever more than 20 people live, there is a church, a mayor, a brewery, a shop, a public fountain, often an old library or school from communist times.

I've never seen 5 houses separated from the world, ever, for any reason, and I've traveled a lot.

Skyrim as a whole is an interesting premise, with the dullest execution I've ever encountered in games. I generally do like Bethesda's open-ended style of gameplay, but Skyrim has some of the most monotonous writing and execution around. I nearly felt asleep right at the end of the civil war quests because the payoff was dull monotonous voice acting reciting dull and apathetic dialogue. Skyrim literally has no kick to give. It would be leagues better if there felt like there was some kind of passion towards the writing. But then again, this is a Bethesda game after all, and their writing will never receive the proper mainstream media criticism it deserves, which pretty much means that Bethesda will never improve.

Nope. 60fps outdoors at almost all times. The lowest I've seen it drop is 52. If you have a good modern processor that isn't AMD garbage it isn't too hard to run at a steady frame rate.

Your CPU is EVERYTHING in this game. Towns like Sadrith Mora should give you around 45+ FPS running around. Balmora and Ebonheart, the 2 most demanding places in terms of FPS, can go as low as ~23FPS in the worst cases but usually at least 28fps or so. Wilderness is pretty much always 60+ fps and indoors is pretty much always 150+ fps

There is a mayor building, which basically just holds documents. The mayor doesnt live there, and only goes there if there is an occasion.
Same with the church.
The brewery is community funded and used, to make spirits from grapes and plums.

Yes, all the villages have these. A village with 2 permanently families living in it, one of which is a single person, still has those buildings and they occasionally function.
When I go there, since my grandpa was born there, I can have the bigger permanent family, who own the only working telephone in the village, to have extra bread be delivered this week, for example.
That family holds the mayor figure (although the is an actual real mayor that rules over several villages combined), the store keeper figure (although the store doesnt function often) and they call the priest for holidays, such as weddings and funerals, since some people want to be buried there, where they were born.

The village, total population of 6, has maybe 50 houses overall, and most of them see some form of life at least once a year. People go there to harvest fruits, or on vacation, or to hunt, or to look after bees once a week.

Pwahahhahaha. How to spot a big city boy: lesson 1.
Buildings dont run away, mate. And small community people arent on the look to rob each other.
The brewery is left to rot until someone needs it. When someone needs it, they clean it up, repair it, use it and leave it to rot.
Same with every other public building. Its a community effort.

That doesnt mean I havent been to our house in that small 6 person village recently, and that I dont know how small villages and communities function.
If you know everybody by name, face and character, you dont even consider robbing them.
Security guards are an urban animal. Janitors are too, in small communities everybody just cleans their own stuff.

I will propose a solution here. Maybe ukrainians are shitty people.

Like I said, I've been to several such small villages, as many of them are near unexplored roman and byzantine ruins, and many have churches that are several centuries old.
All the people are nice. Every time the mayor figure brags about having zero crime rate. Every time the poor people give me free food and free everything, their best stuff that they've been saving for years.

I am not being sarcastic either. Maybe your people are just bad people, and need the chains or urban life to keep them in check. Many studies have suggested that russians are prone to cruelty, especially the isolated ones in the east.

Psijic monks are followers of the Old Way back from pre-dawn time even.
The order of PSJJJ are not allowed to communicate with anyone that much and what that guy was doing was practically rogue shit and the organization had to do is secretively.
If Psijic will do shit openly then Mirror logicians and other huge OP mages will show up to fuck shit up too.

>>
>>315612191
Well the conversation started with Ukraine, my posts are about Bulgaria.
I dont think you can use Australia for this comparison, since most settlements there are "artificial" in a way, while small villages here have been inhabited for centuries or thousands of years, nobody calculated how many people will live here or what administrative needs such a population would have.
>>
>>315611803
You were not talking to me, it was some other guy.
>Maybe your people are just bad people
No, it's mostly because Ukraine is underdeveloped especially in rural areas and there are only couple of cities that get all the dosh in the country
As for these rural villages, they have been fucked like that ever since Ukraine and most of them don't even have any way to get any products from the cities
That being said you can expect even less in war ridden Skyrim so I don't understand what the complaints are about when we have shit like that IRL right now

Skyrim is even worse though so again I don't understand why people think that Skyrim should have lush and full settlements with 200 people

But Bulgaria was poorer than Ukraine until like a decade ago.
And the village I am talking about has no internet, no cable TV, not all houses have electricity even. There is no sewer or plumbing, all of the village uses the same spring for water.
Fucking horses drink from an upside down sarcophagus cover thats older than most countries in Europe. Its as Skyrim as it gets, its even up in the mountains, and you cant get there with many urban model cars.

Mr Cellophane's Lovers and Legends is the one and only true sex mod. The installation process is insanely time consuming, ESPECIALLY for a heavily modded game. You have to run several executables that do some sort of shit to set it up. After that, if you're lucky and it actually works, after selecting an opposite gender NPC, you put a rose down and then activate it. This causes them to appear. You then initiate sex with them in one of 3 (or 4?) positions. Basically you have an excitement bar for each actor. You press a key, like E or something to thrust once. Different positions fill bars at different rates. Once the male bar fills the scene ends. Very simple animations. More likely than not the game will just fucking crash when you try to activate the rose.

Then there's the french Romance mod which was translated to english (but then abandoned). You can have a relationship with an NPC via simple interaction/gifts. You can marry them eventually, and once you do you can have sex and they.you can get pregnant (fade to black, to bedroom, to black, with some sound effects, then you appear back where you were). You can also fuck whores with a prostitution module activated. There is also a mod that links so Romance sex triggers Lovers and Legends scene instead, which is just as buggy as LaL itself.

I also made an edited version of the Romance mod when I was tinkering around and learning to mod. Don't know where it is. It wasn't that great an expansion.

If you run an ENB, you should be able to switch between a limited and unlimited framerate at will with a key like the home or F11/F12. I recommend getting a really simple easy to run ENB if you just want the ability to do that but don't necessarily want a heavy ENB.

Make sure you manually set your ENB to the desired frame cap (60 ideally) as some come with different caps like 48. Depends on your PC I guess. If you are always at like 50~70 then it may be best to set it lower than 60. You'll have to experiment. Press shift+enter during game to bring up enb menu and (temporarily) make changes, including frame cap, so you can find an ideal one.

Keep in mind frame capping will have strange stuttering effects in some areas. Not sure why. Test both outdoors and indoors in towns. Most places should function just fine.

what no, we used to have entire mini towns built between major cities because back in the day, we didnt have cars. each place here is spaced out enough that it would take a day to travel to. thats how far the horses would get, so thats where settlements started springing up. we also had the morse code telocommunications era. where single man posts were put up every few hundred km`s because the signal of morse code was too weak and had to be re-sent at power stations. a huge part of australias history is 1-3 man stations hundreds of kms away from anywhere else. they even used to send groups down the lines because the radio operators had a seriously high rate of suicide and other mental issues from extreme isolation.

You'll need to use it a bit more. For one, capping at 60 makes the game super stuttery at times. Not sure why. You'll probably want it disabled any time you're not in a town. Meanwhile in a town (ESPECIALLY indoors because higher framerates) whenever you open a door there's a chance everything will go flying everywhere and you'll either have to deal with a super messy interior for the rest of the game (unless you manually clean it) or reload your last save/autosave.

Personally I always turn on the cap when I enter a town and turn it off when I leave.

I honestly feel that in just about everything except quests, Skyrim is better than Oblivion.

I feel like Skyrim had a lot less armor and weapons than Oblivion did, and the world's size with 7 house capitals was much more noticeable

Also, at least to me, quests were always the most important part of the whole package and Skyrim completely failed to deliver on that end

When you have a question, several empty posts, an answer, several empty posts, and so on.
It segments it heavily, the point where people just dont read and only scroll through to the bottom.

Dunno, its the impression I am left with after years on 4chan. Nothing like an image dump to keep a thread discussion free.
