MGS4 tries to tie up too many plot threads and turns into a damn mess. At least it fixes the shitty MC in MGS2

PW was okay, it felt a bit grindy. Final boss music was out of place.

GZ was okay.

Listening to your thoughts on the other games, TPP sounds like it might be right up your alley, depending on why you thought GZ was "okay". Was it the length, or did you actually find the gameplay lacking?
Hopefully you don't like story, because MGSV is fucking great if you don't, and terrible if you do.

DD marking anyone even through walls makes that not an issue in TPP luckily. Though, their eyesight actually seems to have been extended, so that might make it a bit tougher.

Thankfully you get a good tranq at the start, and then an even better sub-machinegun with stun bullets slightly later.
There's a shit tonne of weapons though.

Yeah sorry but I still have the taste of endlessly grinding pointless/tedious open world fetch quests for 80% of the game in my mouth. It wasn't a terrible game but your kidding yourself if you think it tops 3 or even 1. Why don't you take your own advice and go replay mgs3, or better yet "get some taste" since you clearly have none.

How dose it being dated have any bearing on the game? It's just an observation, MGS1 is arguably the best metal gear game if you can take off your milenial goggles.

If you kill a hostage during the Dirty Duck fight in MG1, you won't have enough C4 to beat Metal Gear.

If you jump off the building in MG2 while the wind is blowing the wrong way, you won't be able to get another hang glider.
