Prison architect seems like it was one of the games that is early access working as intended.

Space Base DF9 differs in that they slapped 1.0 on it and pushed it out of early access when it was still in dire need of an expanded featureset because it wasn't [spoilers]fun[/spoilers]

if I really want to play a prison game, should I get prison architect or the escapists
