I don't know, I think that people here in /v/ will defend the shit out of Bloodborne.
It does look nice, but I think that people should be pushing harder for a better game, not just repeating the same formula of Demon Soul's but now with a grimdark visual patch.

From Software let some people down when they released DaS 2, yet people where hyping it like the GOTY, and after the release a lot of them still defended it like a 10/10 game (not that it was bad, just not up to a 10/10 game). Most of the counter arguments where along the lines of: "you are just a casual, Dark Souls is a hardcore game for people like myself".

From Software fans should push the company to develop better games that just don't repeat the same formula over and over again (just like CoD or Mario games do, but those are for casual right? RIGHT?)

I will admit Bloodborne looks fun, but I haven't beaten a Dark Souls game yet. I got to the Chucacabra only becauseI read online guides about using pine on the bridge fat fuck and gargoyle twins. It took the fun out of the game for me, I just wanted to club demons to death while naked.

Will consider a ps4 for this and mgs/infamous when they release a slim version. I won't use ps+ though.

Nah. I never even cared about From until DaS came out for PC, so I have no idea whether it's common for them to make things for PC or not.
And I hardly think DaS3 will come out this year, especially since it would end up competing directly with Bloodborne.

Yeah, demon's souls, alongside NieR and Drakengard 3, were what made the ps3 worth it to me. I'm very interested in bloodborne. I have a PC with a gtx 760, ps3 and 3ds, but there isn't a single game I'm looking forward to more than bloodborne. I'm also gonna get inFamous because I like the series, Type-0 remake, Mortal Kombat X to take the ps4 with me to my friends' house, as well as FFXV, which I also want to play on release instead of waiting fucking forever for a possible pc port. Every other multiplat, I get it on pc.

The souls games are MUCH more enjoyable during their first week because it's extremely entertaining finding out stuff with the community, as well as the fact that there isn't any meta or anything yet so you get to see all kinds of crazy shit. I definitely don't want to miss that.

I don't really think you can go wrong with playstations, even though there really isn't anything other than bloodborne that warrants a ps4 purchase, IF you already have a pc that is. But out the big three, sony has been the only one who has consistently supported their consoles throughout the very end of their respective gens and even beyond that, so I have no doubts the ps4 is gonna end up with an amazing library. Also, I always buy games at half the price on the ps3 and will do so on the ps4 as well because I share some accounts with two buddies, whereas the other two are always fucking you over with prices never going down/region lock/etc.
