Anyway, this is not the case. Early access is like paying for painting of your garage, providing the painter with paint and money for his expenses, he comes up, open the bucket, throw it at one of the walls and never shows up again.
This is how early access works in a nutshell. If you can't secure funds before making your game, you shouldn't start making one. The ONLY excuse for early access is when you have your game FINISHED and simply can't afford beta testers, but that pretty much forces you to release the game in mint condition after getting all the feedback.

Hey, Expeditions: Conquistador early access was great! It was basically finished game and all people who backed the project could be beta-testers, WHILE the devs hired actual beta-testers too. This allowed to tweak few things and made the game even better
But that's the only good game made via kickstarter since the launch of the site, so it's one massive exeption instead of a rule.

Is Space Engineers worth it? Yes I know there is a free weekend and I could try it out, but that would use up my precious gaming time. There is 50 minute youtube survival video and plan to watch it. I'd just like to know if there is enough content to justify early access price tag.
