the HD mod I think. You can't really use punch in this unless you have a zombie tanking. Also for mana, I'm kind of just relying on the witch to recharge me everytime im out of pots. Although I can see this method becoming tedious

thanks but no thanks /v/. I just got the hang of it, got gud. Fuck playing vanilla, the modded version was the best thing I could find to pirate. It's literally the same thing but has better graphics and a resolution that fits my screen. The added classes don't destroy the experience nostalgiafags.

It really isn't the same game at all, it's D2 lite. The HD mod changes so much that they're not even close to the same play style or experience. Don't try to make excuses because you're too lazy to figure out how to get an old game running on a modern machine.

Do you mean unplayable as in you literally can't run it? Checking all compatibility boxes, setting it to Vista (Service Pack 1), and running as admin gets it to work on Win7 usually. Either manually kill explorer every time you want to play or create a batch file that manually does it and it should be good. There's also a direct draw wrapper out there that helps some people run it. I don't know about Win8 though, I've never set it up.
