>Main Character lives in torment for the rest of his life in the end
>main character becomes retarded at the end
>due to retelling of the story main character doesn't become a retard at the end
>Main character turns evil in the end
>makes the rest of the series impossible
>everyone who ever has interacted with the main character has all memory of his existence wiped from their mind at the end
>Main character fought to the bitter end
>main character's party members all leave and obtain a happy ending
>now alone, main character finally reaches his goal
>he's forced into ng+ and has to begin the entire journey over again.
I liked how they did it in this game I played called halo reach, you see a cracked destroyed blood splattered helmet on the ground with the planet being destroyed, and then you get the whole 10 hours earlier thing and see your character putting the helmet on in his way into battle, so you know you're dead from the start
>Main character dies, but gets to live with her lover forever in a paradise-like place
I'm perfectly okay with this
>main character was going to become the antagonist of the sequel, but the devs pussed out at the last second and replaced him with an old midget Buddha named Greedy McEvil.
Have you not seen the rest of the series? The only gundam pilot more autistic is Setsuna. He also had a huge inferiority complex (First thing he does in a gundam is shoot at one of those officers and cackle like a maniac)
ITSUDATTE ITSUDATTE ITSUDATTE
>main character was dealt the worst deck
>everyone hates him for no real reason
>MC discovers he's the only one who can defeat the antagonist
>MC makes friends along the way
>MC has a breakdown upon realizing once him and his friends defeat the antagonist, they will go back to their mundane lives
>MC's friends assure him they will stay friends
>MC defeats the antagonist with the power of friendship
>nobody gives a shit and MC's erstwhile friends return to shitting on him without skipping a beat
>Main character dies in a way that means that you had no impact on anything
>Has the same effect as getting a standard game over
>But standard game over, which has the same meaning, is not a win
Then why the fuck did I play if I wan't allowed to impact anything?
>Scene in which your bro beats the shit out of the Main Character while he refuses to fight back
>community tells Black_Knight to pls go
try the alternate universe stuff.
the movie remake of Zera makes Kamile not a retard but him bring a retard is what helps on ZZ and further on in the UC timeline
>Main character becomes a God and in doing so enlists another like him to kill him and take his place, finally relieving him of this lonely existence
>The one that is enlisted is also the main character himself on Newgame+
Man, if you watched both and did not get into it, then i think Gundam is just not for you
Believe me, I'm 100% sure watching ZZ with that opinion will just make you mad, because the show only truly picky up once it reaches halfway point
You can always try out some AU stuff
>main character dies in the end
>unless you send someone who did literally nothing to die in your place
>You are supposed to feel bad about sacrificing a nobody to potentially extend the length of time you can be a hero by 20-30 years
>Not killing yourself is the bad ending
Why are game developers so stupid.
>Friend of the MC dies to save his life
>MC makes a promise to dying friend
>MC isn't able to fulfill the promise
>On his deathbed, last words are apologizing to the friend
That chart really under-emphasizes how fucking awful the cast of 0083 is. I'm up to Zeta watching in chronological order now, and I really can't see why anyone likes those cunty Zeon fucks so far. Even in the series that are supposed to show them in a positive light like IGLOO, I just can't feel any sympathy for the idealistic hypocrites.
remember that one time tomino and anno were both depressed and anno tried to make a tomino show?
that was great
>Main character spends whole game trying to figure out their real identity
>When they think they're close to figuring it out the entire thing flips on their heads and their even more lost than before
>Main character says fuck it and stops caring in order to focus on saving their friends
>Main character embraces the fact that they're going to die without knowing who they really are
>Rad as fuck dog pops in and says he's not really going to die and it was all a ruse
>bosses are all fallen heroes of a 6-hero band
>you must defeat them as a rising tyrant
>you were actually the 7th hero before being revived, from death at the hands of your fellow heroes arguing over the loot
This is probably my favorite moment in that game. They get to hang out one last time and enjoy the calm before the storm.
Just any game that does that.
Kraven Manor comes to mind. Getting killed means being turned into a mannequin, but the ending is that you get caught and turned into a mannequin, and nothing else.
Poor Jack Marston
>his fucking dog died
>the only thing he can do to heal his pain is take revenge killing the bastard who betrayed his father
>even doing that he is alone in the world and feeling empty inside
>friends' constant careless actions make the main goal harder to accomplish
>MC gives them the benefit of the doubt time and time again, but it's obvious he's getting pissed
>the camel's back finally breaks when the retard friend deliberately disobeys MC's wishes, thus putting everyone's lives in danger
>audience is expected to take the retard's side when MC yells at him
Main character losses his lover at the end of first game, meets his mother in the present, they travel through time, the mother meets MC's father, main character goes back at the start of first game before meeting his lover
But anon, all I do is pretty much try to make the most Monster Hunter character I can.
Except I wear that templar bucket hat from the start, because it's fucking rad.
>level 1 upgrade requires ore
>level 2 upgrade requires rare ore and scales
>level 3 upgrade requires wooden buckets
And then I picked the up from the Duke's garden, because fuck him.
It gets worse then that; John dies because he knows that its the only way to bring peace to his family; he could fight, but the government would never stop chasing him. So Jacks actions, by killing a government official, undo the point of Johns sacrifice, and start the cycle anew
