What is the fundamental difference between lewd subject matter, and any other subject matter? In the end, you're trying to evoke the most emotion out of the viewer as possible. There's just Emotion A, and Emotion B. Somehow we have deemed Emotion A to be greater, and Emotion B to be lesser.

For example, how many times have you seen someone look at a crude chibi drawing and comment on it like "OMG SO CUTE :3c <<<<3333"?
You look at the drawing, and it's just a basic circle face with two round shapes for eyes, and some randomly placed highlights and washed out color. The image was just made to evoke a very basic emotion from the viewer, which it did. Although the art isn't very good, it still succeeded. On the other end of the spectrum, you have Disney. Who are essentially a crazy think-tank that does nothing but come up with way to try and evoke emotion out of people through animation. And their work is high quality. But even though they are super-refined at what they do. What's the base emotion that's being evoked? "OMG SO CUTE :3c <<<<3333"

Porn is no different. It's just trying to evoke the feeling of sexuality. What's wrong with trying to get them off? What's wrong with them looking at me to get the off? That's what i aim to do. The art in my craft is to try and create such a refined product, that it evokes a stronger and stronger emotion as I improve.
