What is the best console design of all time and why it is

I don't like the handle

it's very iconic. I think the Ouya was Yves' attempt at redesigning the gamecube.
The controller is optimized too. I wonder if there's anything that could add to it to make it better? Maybe voluntary motion controls similar to the Wii U? I wouldn't mind gently steering that controller with Star fox assault

>Not quite as powerful as an Xbox, but better than the PS2.

The only big issue with it is not being able to handle DVDs. And even then, the smaller discs allowed for fasted loading times, so it's not even that much of an issue.

I would have liked equal sized/shaped face buttons, virtual console games that don't use only A and B are a bitch to play and Megaman Anniversary Collection would be playable with that

In terms of style? I love the way the Genesis looks. Doesn't hurt that the Genesis has a pretty stellar library of action titles/shmups. Definitely not the BEST console overall, but the Genesis easily fits in the top 5 for me.

I wouldn't say the WiiU has a shitty design. It's not MASSIVE, it's a pretty simple shape to deal with when making a spot for it on the entertainment system. It's not eye catching like a Genesis or a Gamecube, but it's not repulsive.

I always thought the JP/EU SNES was the best looking console.

The US SNES looked awful and cheap meanwhile, though ironically ended up being the most universal system.
