guys i do this weird thing where every so often I really want to play trespasser again and I usually end up downloading it and beating it, god help me I can't make it to the end of a game to save my life or even sit through a tv episode but here I am every month beating this damn game again

I third JP: Operation Genesis as the best Jurassic Park game and the best dinosaur game ever made. It was a cheap JPIII shovelware cash-in, but goddamn, it was much better than I could've ever imagined. I still play it occasionally.

There is also and IOS game for Dinosaur shooting ala BIG GAME HUNTER. Does anybody know the name of the other one? The one with animu chicks and pokemon collecting? The IOS one, not Fossil Fighters.

There was a Japanese game called Dinosaur Hunting. It's kinda fun, but not really worth much to me. Think of EDF (The game with the giant ant war in japan.)

I'm friends with one of the developers of that game (also worked on a starship troopers, some movie tie in about a train, and I think he ended up working on de blob )
I think the reason it turned out so good was because they were a relatively small team who gave a shit. He told me he personally spent a lot of time on the water graphics and was very proud of it

feathers could serve a similar purpose with heat retention, as well as guarding the dinosaur from cold rain. Some birds have water resistant feathers, which could help keep colder water off of water-dwelling predators like the Spinosaurus, but I'm not sure if that would even work.

I'm also talking out of my ass and have never even googled "why do birds have feathers" because I'm not interested in birds because they are shit. Fuck birds. Literally holocaust all geese.
On a side note I'm actually disappointed that the most recent generation of fossil pokemon are based on regular old dinosaurs and not some other cool fossilized creatures.
