You're in the boss arena and the arena infinitely spawns sandworm enemies, you can either trick them into aggroing against the boss or kill them, they leave a pool of caustic blood and if you get the boss to walk into the blood he'll take dots.

The biggest problem is that he has so much fucking HP that it takes something like 10-15 minutes just to be able to hurt him yourself.

Borderlands has a REALLY bad level scaling problem. I'm no expert on game mechanics so I can't explain it to you in detail, but it seems the only way they have of making enemies harder or more durable is to just inflate stats. That means endgame numbers are just ludicrous

Dragon Quest too is really good at giving you debuffs that can be used against bosses.
It's just the terrible ones like Final Fantasy. Even Dragon Quest had some good ones.

Worth it? Because I just got way too pissed off at that.
Hell they didn't even need to put any effort in a second half they could have easily had Chapter 5 as the last chapter where everything comes together. I was clocking around 35 hours right at the end of Chapter 4 so it's not like I would have felt the game was too short.

But yeah I'm going to wait and hear if they pull that shit again before buying it. I don't hate myself for getting Bravely Default because I did love it until than but I can't bring myself to get Second if they do it again.
