I haven't played Triple Deluxe, but generally in my experienced opinion, Kirby games have shit enemy designs. The shit enemy design extended into Brawl's Subspace emissary as well.

I also dislike both Kirby's and SSE's level design, they are often to bare bones and simplistic.

Either way, on single player mode you fight kracko mid way with a cpu partner (since it has team battles now), and a team of mini dedede's and dedede for the final boss, where dedede takes his last shot at revenge according to the pause screen

Assuming we're not counting full spin-offs (i.e not stuff like Avalanche or Pinball, but still counting Canvas Curse/Epic Yarn):

The easiest answer would be Kirby's Dream Land (for Game Boy), because it was superseded in every way by Super Star only 4 years later, but it feels cheap to pick on the first game in the series.

If the first one is off-limits, I'd go with Kirby's Dream Land 2, because Dream Land 3 did everything it did and did it better. I still like it, though.

The levels are fun, but I think the draw, especially in the newer games, is the boss battles. Kirby bosses always seem to be a good mix between "whale on 'em til they die" in beat 'em ups and "dodge and attack the weak point" of Zelda/Mario games

I'm really enjoying them, but I'm a big kirby nut so dropping 15$ for both was no problem, but i can see it not being as worth it for others

If you ask me, Drum Dash is the best value just for the amount of content and challenge, for fighters you miss out on a lot of potential fun if you don't have friends to play with since HAL is afraid of online

Both of them are amazing. I hesitated at first despite being a huge Kirby fanatic, but once I started playing them I was hooked.

Fighters Dedede on Very Hard being one of the hardest bosses in the series and Drum Dash being extra challenging near the end were pleasant surprises. It's scary how tough Kirby games can get!

I was thinking more about the rule type than the full games, actually. 20th is good, but a bit too easy in story mode. I hadn't tried it on hard mode yet, but since 15th becomes way way harder if you up the difficulty I do hope 20th at least becomes somewhat of a challenge.

It's on the short side, even for a Kirby game, but the music is fantastic (even for a Kirby game), and the 3D is fantastic. It's also a delicious buttery 60FPS so the game looks amazing.

Also one of the best final boss battles in the whole series.

My only complaints would be that the last world reeks of padding, and that as someone who hates rhythm games I'm missing out on a big chunk of the game. Also Dedede Mode could have been handled better, though having its own unique final boss is nice.
