Before this oc-comic console-tan spree started I used to seek for console-tans all around the internet (I thought if there's os-tans there must be console-tans) and there are some. Most of them are not very good, but some are, but their drawings are a bit more complex than the ones the oc-creators tend to draw.

One thing the simpler ones have for them is that it's easy to get funny stories out.
I think our snes-tan sits in a comfortable middle ground between complex and simple (and I haven't found other I like more)

Mostly because I couldn't find any full references of Genesis-tan and I hate coming up with designs for shoes. There were no colour pictures of here either that I could find so I just went with the red to accent the black, since that was the only colour on the system itself.

I already wrote down a list like that before. I feel that the "no official designs" rule would also include the personalities of each character, and by extension the pairings. So you can interpret them as you wish.
