Sakurai doesn't like to tease and drag things out with out a happy ending, which is why he deconfirmed Waluigi, Ashley, Skull Kid ect. with out hesatation. While teasing many characters that have made it in like: Mega Man, Little Mac, Palutena, Pac-Man ect. Why treat Ridley so different?
