I think it's fucking brilliant, not only new people get to train with character who's actually in need of training and not established badaas learning how to crouch again, but it could also show the bonding between Geralt and the girl so that people don't go all wat when Geralt starts looking for a girl who was mentioned grant total of TWO times in the gamesade is somehow like daughter to him. Let people get at connection with her as well. So that they will be glad to meet her when she's grown up.

No, but they kept showing off select sections of the demo. What I saw was the Ladies of the Wood cutscene and a bit of the Downwarren gameplay after the werewolf. From what I saw, dodges look like they are infinitely spammable, and that recovery animation after each dodge is going to put players in a run-like-hell mentality. No sign of those 90+ unique animations anywhere. Nice sign gameplay though - Quen can be upgraded into a magic sphere of protection that lasts for 5 seconds now.

Bloodborne was kind of a mess. Manus again, enemies carry bows reskinned as guns, player's shotgun feels like a BB gun, movement is wonky etc. I got burned out on From with Armored Core, and now I'm calling it quits again. Done with their games.

I have no problem with health regen outside of combat. I think it should be tied to difficulty though.
Fast regen on easy mode, very slow if not nothing on hard mode, maybe on hard you'd have to eat or something.
The real cancer is in-combat health regen (without potions), but I don't think that's happening, or is it?
