I actually think Jeff is a legitimately cool character. I'd love to see him or Giygas.

Giygas would be in his Mother 1 form but his final smash makes him turn into his Mother 2 form and go into the background of the stage, blasting various PSI attacks at people. Also the skybox could turn pitch black and maybe Giygas's weird sounds could replace the music to bring back the atmosphere of the battle with him.

Either that or he could call in Starmen troops to assist him in the battle. I honestly wish Ness's final smash was PSI Rockin' or the Runaway Five coming in and helping him fight. Maybe even his party coming in and helping him fight, too. PSI Starstorm, while cool and all, just doesn't feel too "Ness". I mean maybe if his final smash let you choose a PSI ability to attack with via an old Earthbound-style RPG menu then it could be in there, but still.

I'd just like to have a bit more of the good ol' Earthbound spirit in the series.

I don't know out of the series on that row Kid Icarus seems likely to get a rep to me then Kirby or Metroid. Unless if he actually was teasing Ridley I ain't ruling him out as a possiblity.

Plus it's too weird to tease him at the end of Palutena's trailer and on her poster. Either he's an Assist trophy or a boss for Palutena's temple.
