I did read some 40k books, though: Eisenhorn (first book, bretty gud), Gaunt's Ghosts (first book, bretty gud) and Ravenor (last book, boring as shit).

Also there's The Witcher but it's the opposite here. It's still a decent read.

I'm going through the Warhammer Fantasy books that have an ebook version more sophisticated than a bloody .txt file and the quality varies massively.

Passes time while I work my way up the ranks of another lord's army in Warsword I suppose.

I've been trying to get into reading, but I'm having so much trouble finding things to read. Goodreads is a nice site for that, but rather than recommending the best, they just recommend a bunch of random shit from the same genre. You have to wade through 500 pieces of shit just to get to the 5 gems.

Read Good Soldier Schweik, gaylord. It's both one of the funniest books I've ever read and one of the most interesting.

Last book I read based on a game was Dead Space; Martyr, which I thought was actually pretty good.

Start with anything Brandon Sanderson, probably Mistborn. His books are good and pretty easy to follow.

Once you have finished, I'd highly suggest Malazan Book of the Fallen. Stick with the first book though, because everything afterwards is brilliant.

I read the WoW books, but yeah the War of the Ancients Trilogy was shit, as are all the books by Knaaks.

I thought Golden's books were okay though, and I enjoyed the one about Medivh a lot. I thought the way they explained magic in that was cool.
