Pretty sure my runs at 50fps with 23 cells on
>a PC that uses something like an i5 4570 and a GTX 760 is seriously, unironically considered to be a toaster
I've never seen PC technology get obsolete so fast since the 90s.
>There's a major game changer coming
What's going on anon?
OpenMW is getting released, basically a Morrowind game engine rewrite. It'll give us complete control over every line of code in game and give us endless modding capabilities. It'll also be optimised for new PCs, have a mac, linux and android port. It'll feature better animations, lightning, water and fix lots of bugs that were in game due to engine limitations. Give it two years and Morrowind will look like Crysis, won't be clunky and combat mods will be abundant.
OP here, here's my specs.
Running on a prebuilt handed down to my by my brother in 2008. I had to swap out the gpu 3 years ago since it failed. It's hotter than molten lava...look at those temps
there's Mr. Cellophane's lovers and legends
it's one of the hardest to set up mods i've ever tried, i think i had more fun trying to figure out how it worked than actually seeing my headless argonian wife bouncing on an invisible dick
my fps is quite high with mgso only, what mods lower it? I recall having like 20-30fps with Knots' guide.
cleaned up desktop a week ago
>no good tabs
my processor and videocard will nearly max out any videogame
the 770 is shit because 2gb vram
intel is jewbrand nonsense
>2gb of vram is fine
Do you even play new games? Have you never modded Skyrim to crash your 3 gb of vram with crazy ass textures?
This is my old ass toaster. I really wish I had enough money to upgrade.
i dont know what ur talking about
>have shit computer from 2003
>just play CS and some other Goldsrc games
>In shit like DoD and TFC half the time transparent textures show up with blue boxes around it that block your view
>constant microfreezing and crashing
Fuck yes, a completely forgot about this. Thanks for reigniting the hype, anon.
Best thing is, it actually looks like the devs will come through completely with this mod, unlike a lot of big mods out there.
So go buy a new as in used one. After ten years I'm sure you could have saved up enough to buy a 200 dollar computer. I saw a q6600 with 4 GB ram and a half decent video card for 150 Canbucks a few months ago when I was shopping for my parents.
JC2, The Witcher, Warframe. Nothing really graphic intensive.
My other computer at the time broke, so I just took some family members old one because I needed a PC. I still regret the decision to this day, I am working on getting a job but holy shit no-one near me will call back or anything.
>probably doesn't overclock his processor
>uses a fucking TV as a monitor
ur mad basic
>plebs don't even know how to turbocharge their toasters
I can't remember the name of it, but the mod/s with food, cooking, fishing, and thirst (with waterskins) better make it over to OpenMW. Having to plan out excursions in a harsh environment made it so much fucking fun, not to mention fishing just outside of Vivec, then setting up a campfire to cook my freshly caught dinner in view of the cantons.
Just built a new PC today. There is nothing that I can run that will tax it. Still on 1080p mind, but whatever.
I feel for you toaster users, I was using a toaster for so fucking long. Stay strong bros, stay strong.
I always wait at least 5 years between builds and I still can't get through playing all the good games of it's lifespan. I'm 2 and a half years into this one and I'm thinking I'll still be in great shape after 5.
It's always a great feeling to trade a toaster for good upper-middle gaming rig and I always feel I get my moneys worth.
look, I can't tell if you're being serious or just some australian trying to take his mind of his miserable life by shitposting; but the difference in power is negligible. You are paying for brand name with intel and nvidia. Believing nvidia's architecture is better than AMDs when they BOTH use 28nm is just hilarious.
A godsend if you like shootling lots of things.
this screenshot is modded though
Keep in mind that First and Second Encounter are best, especially second one. Serious Sam 3 starts slow and dull, takes 5 levels to get going, but is good as well.
Play Serious Sam 2 only if you're a hardcore fan and want to see what 2K did with it
I should start playing Morrowind again. What mods do I get
Not really a bad toaster at all, pretty satisfied with it.
You need to deliver that note or whatever the fuck to Caius Cossades or whoever that guy was, I think you find out where he is by talking to people, or know it already.
Look at your journal
I was maxed out and I told my self I would eventually upgrade to an Ivy-Bridge I7 so I went for the cheapest quad-core to tide me over. If I knew how small of an improvement Ivy-Bridge was going to be (and the fact that my Gigabyte chipset would only clock to 3.9ghz after the Ivy-Bridge bios update) I'd have done it differently.
It was on sale for 40 dollars less than the nearest one. It's never been a problem.
I should start playing Morrowind again. What mods do I get
You should go full overkill
Then go full retard:
>a cpu that bottlenecks the shit out of everything
lol are you serious? if you were to clean out the rat hole that is your computer case, get an after market cooler and overclock that bitch you could pull some serious power for such an old processor.
Morrowind Overhaul nights are my favourite nights
I once boiled an egg on my motherboard.
It was fun.
Just started one today too nigga
I get silky smooth 30fps at the lowest I have everything jacked to max
>playing tf2 on the lowest settings, with an FPS config installed to get the most frames possible
>30FPS outside of combat, ~10FPS otherwise
>Morrowind 1017 FPS
>install all graphical mods, set LOD to 28 cells
>40 - 50 fps
>set lod to 30 cells
>set lod to load everything including tamriel rebuilt
