I killed a chimera in STALKER using only a shitty pistol

I play video games while in a constant bit of physical pain, a pain that I don't tell anyone else about, and when it becomes unmanageable only then do I mention it to others and they think it's minor at best.

It can be simple things like when my knee goes to hell, and bending it causes inflamation in the joints, to my back being sore and it makes it hard to turn or bend in certain ways.

I have scars in my feet from an incident as a child where oyster shells went through my foot, causing irreparable nerve damage so that when it gets cold enough my foot hurts and I can't stand it.

I do this because I'd rather play video games than sit in a hospital bed, and I'd rather enjoy video games than be high from painkillers or other meds that will fuck up my focus and my skill.
