MediEvil was pretty good, although people seem to hate it compared to the original.
PSP Monster Hunter games are really good.
Metal Gear Ac!d is a really weird take on the franchise, but I enjoyed it. 2 is objectively better so don't bother with 1 unless you want to.

Play all games of a series of you recommend the series to a person. And if the games are released in non chronological order, tell them to play the games in release to notice the advance in game mechanics from oldest release to new release.
