alright /v/, time for a game of "would you rather: vidya edition"

>A. video games become 100% socially acceptable, if not encouraged, by all people of earth. Your parents and grandparents love that shit and play it with you. You fit right in with all the normies, and it becomes the go-to social event instead of going out to the bar. You're practically guaranteed to get a gf because all of them love vidya just as much as you, and it becomes a great way to meet people, even fat ugly fuckfaces get girlfriends no problem. This might just be your one and only chance of getting your qt 3.14 gf.

BUT

There is no longer a need to refer to a "golden age of vidya" because it's already happening, constantly, and consistently.

BUT

A seems like a pretty clear answer. Yeah, good vidya is nice. But having a fucking witch hunt over it is stupid. This is kinda a shit choice OP since you build up the downside to B so hard to the point of saying there is a chance for physical attacks and exiling.

Hell, I'd stop playing vidya in general if that was the cost. What a shitty choice.

Generation 8 fucking sucked and as we inch towards generation 9 it doesn't look like it's going to get better. Just google PS4 games, or Xbox One games, or Wii U games. All pretty much underwhelming, this is seriously what we're all arguing over?
