Having been a big fan of the original DKC series, I recently played Returns on an HD upscale on Dolpin (fuck those wii controls) and was totally blown away with how good it was. I have not played a level so far I haven't liked, and keep going back to my favorite ones. They look good and feel good.
Changes I would make to the series

You forgot Dynasty Warriors 8 Empire.
Anyways one has a few campaigns told from different sides, the other has a really large grid that you can do missions on.
Personally I think you should get Samurai Warriors instead because the gameplay is stronger and dash attacks are a really great concept.
