Can we have a Bloodborne lore thread? No shitposters allowed except Ten Days of Bloodborne.
I just found out a bunch of new information about the Pthumerians. For some reason I assumed they lived in the chalice dungeons exclusively, Yharnam was the first queen, and they have no interaction with the outside world. Cainhurst's story made no sense to me, and it never made sense to me why the city was named Yharnam, plus it didn't make sense for the Pthumerians to be described as originally humble guardians of the Great Ones and then suddenly they decided to elect a monach (who I assumed was the queen Yharnam we meet) and they had super decadent clothing.
All wrong, no real evidence for it, just more bullshit the community has decided must be accurate for no reason.

Pthumerians were old race before regular people came. Yharnam was founded on the ruins of pthumerian city. Logicaly dungeons survived almost intact.
