Because - even though only briefly, and purely as a combat enhancement mode - Carol turns into a male once or twice early in the manga. Too bad, it really is one of the best works of pre-modern yuri. Absolutely canon, mutual love, trust, and support, and a happy ending. I continue to love Chirality to this day.

Funny thing is you could quite well headcanon it that Rachel from Ragnarock City is Carol and Shiori's daughter since her full name is Rachel Shiori Guardian.
Oh yeah and Ragnarock City is full on yuri where everyone runs around mostly naked.

To be fair he's hardly doing any real work aside from making covers for Comic Tenma and doing odd stuff like making some of the character focused endings from Queen's Blade.

It was short in length, and it was released a long time ago. Those are the big reasons you don't hear about it that often these days. The art was well done, and its still a staple of yuri for some. If you enjoy it then that is good.

Urushihara remains one of the best artists to this day, even if he doesn't do much yuri-wise.
Now that Comic Tenma is gone he doesn't even have that. He does do Comic Masyo covers and illustrates some ero-LNs but mostly nowadays he mostly makes stuff for Comiket.

With more classic manga being licensed-rescued these days, There's a chance for this manga to be picked up again.

Anyone know if the original Central Park Media prints were flipped or not? It's CPM so I'm not hopeful, but it'd be nice to know.
