Well I was planning on releasing that one a bit differently. I want to have at least half of it done before I start posting chapters so I can update regularly, instead of just posting as I write. read the manga, the adaptation was comfy but flawed. too much filler not in the manga, serious moments much better in the manga, too much time devoted to "lol shouta and lucoa" jokes and shouta showing up in chapters he isn't around in the manga

but it gave saikawa more screentime so it's ok

I really hate Lucoa in the anime. The series was perfectly balanced before she rolled in with her pedophilia trash. After that it just got gross. I felt dirty every time she was onscreen.

Not really, Kanna is a highly sexualized character, and Saikawa's attraction is largely shown to be sexual in nature.

I will say that /u/ probably wouldn't be crazy about the Lucoa/Shouta relationship even if Shouta wasn't a boy, not for any moral reason, but because the gag just isn't that funny.

A good example would be the pedophile Haruka from Kanamemo. She's unambiguously lesbian and is the source of a lot of yuri, but even /u/ isn't really fond of her because her gag is shitty.
