Yes. I had an idea for an OC one.

But I can't draw that well so I was thinking of writing a book and maybe paying someone a reasonable fee to do art for it I could disperse through the chapters.

The idea behind the book is it's set in America, probably west coast I think, not sure yet. But the way i'd write it would be very Japanese inspired with certain tropes and stuff for giant weebs and yuri fans but concealed in a way that your typical western reader of lesbian teenage love stories might not catch on or find the stuff vaguely unique compared to what they are normally into.

But first and foremost it'd be a story for people like us. It'd be something you or I (generally speaking) would appreciate and enjoy, normies be damned.

It's partially inspired by one of my favorite yuri manga of all time but only in some minor superficial ways. The characters, story and events are OC.

The hardest part though, for me as someone who has never written a full length novel the way I plan on (I plan on at least writing 2.) is coming up with a good, nonfiction narrative. I want there to be an overarching plot but the story is broken up into stories following the main two characters and their friends/family with a lot of yuri scenarios.

Also, it's funny to say this but one of my favorite things about lesbian romance is kinda hiding it, learning to accept feelings, getting caught or the struggle to come out but it feels like it's so normal and acceptable today people wouldn't care. I've toyed with the idea of setting the story during the 80's and 90's but I dunno.
