Broly's creator doesn't get it, nor did the original concept writers of Bog from before Toriyama stepped in. Beerus was originally a pun of 'virus' and was going to be a standard db villain who's backstory was that he put the evil into the Saiyan race's hearts.

Toriyama got hold of the project and now arguably directly as a result of Beerus being made a more flexible character than an ordinary movie villain DB is resurging so hard it's competing with one piece in japan.

Though true, there needs to be more episodes about them to be able to tell for sure. Well from the leaked episode titles we know Kale is going berserk relatively soon. Granted it doesn't seem to take much to trigger her, anyone trying to act friendly with Cauli would probably do it.
