A bit confused with something in this episode. So there was a word in Diana's home, and saying the word made Chariot's broom appear which in turn suggests that Chariot's broom was left at Diana's house. The question is why was the broom there?

Also Beatrix looking at Diana suggests to me that Beatix gave her approval of Diana as head of the household (regardless of her not doing anything with the unicorn horn).

Anyone think next time Diana returns home for the ritual that she'll bring Akko with her ?

How do you know its not Croix? From what I recall the only time we see her flying is when she is standing on her discs, and her "magic" has all been done with technology. I hypothesize that she no longer has magic, and is using technology to compensate. We've also seen flashbacks where her hair was red, so you may be falling for misdirection.

And then immediately after refused to chase Ursula any further after she got back up, because she realized she was going overboard? Croix doesn't want to kill her. Croix is power hungry, jealous and obsessed with her goals, but she has never shown any intention of straight up wanting to kill anyone. Even with other people, she put them through hell to gather energy, not to murder them. Remember that witches disliked Chariot. I doubt she didn't know this given how the teaches talk about her. Only muggles went to chariot shows and these were people who would otherwise never learn how to even use magic let alone need it. Just in case though it was still not permanent damage. She never could have expected based on traditions going back centuries that anyone in that audience would have tried to use what they temporarily lost.
Akko was the first non witch family member to get accepted to Luna Nova and it was only because of a catastrophic series of bad decisions and a loan shark, by the numbers when Chariot made the decision to do what she did when she did technically it was a victimless crime as the audience were losing what they didn't even think they had or ever used in the first place. It affected them in 0 ways as chariot shows were still wildly popular enough to get TCG and shit presumably after multiple performances. So it wasn't literal dreams either or people would have lost their happiness. She just borrowed a metric ton of latent magic from non-consenting audiences that would otherwise go unused and could be replenished.

Meanwhile Chariot voluntarily took an ancient voodoo tree bullshit bullet for the one victim, and from what we know that's not temporary at all. There's nothing that can bring that back if not even the ancient celtic magic shiny-maguffin healing stick couldn't.

Was it the right thing to do? No, but it wasn't necessarily evil just morally questionable. It was like that movie office space where they took the rounded cents off every transaction thinking no one would notice and it would be coffee money, and accidentally tanked the company. Except here she ended up taking the money that would have gone to Akko's rightful college fund so now she has to work her ass off to pay her own way.

I think Akko will actually draw on Dianna's strength especially once she tells her what she learned of Chariot, it'll explain why Dianna both distastes and secretly admires Chariot a lot still, and then they'll both say it's our job to restore magic it to it's proper state, and thus fight Croix and whatever weird things come out of the wood work. Either way I was actually surprised by this reveal of what Chariot did, and I like it, things were predictable yet still left something I wasn't expecting to make said events happen.
