I kinda think they really wanted to b8 people there - hell, Nobunaga was pretty much the only thing tying the whole stories together.

I wish I hadn't watched this at the time when I was so burned out by the turning historical figures into little girls gimmick because I deleted it after three episodes. I distinctly remember Kenshin and one of her vassals(?) being super gay for each other.

I think I have to download it again now. The ED was pretty jamming.
