If we're using CtL courts as basis then Elsa's firmly in winter despite making life and the hair splitting involving snow/ice and water. Spring court would probably be way more subtle compared to Elsa's more obvious power in the frame of the courts. Subtle enough to be confused with divine providence if it's slow healing/vitality boosting. Also the idea of Spring interest having growing up in the inverse of Elsa's life. Just a simple example: while Disney would never show their Princesses kill anyone, these characters themselves are still capable of it. Will it be OOC? No. If you tell a proper story, giving them a proper reason and showing a proper thinking process, the readers will find their killing to be perfectly in-character.

Just remember, no character is incapable of anything. OOC is simply the result of inadequate writing. Elsa will feel OOC if you just give one or two lines setting up "she's disillusioned because her country got wrecked by Hans so now she's a cold conqueror." But Elsa will feel in-character if you show-not-tell how she witnessed her poor mother getting slaughtered in front of her eyes, how Arendelle children are trampled under horses hooves, how all the citizens sacrificed their own family to help her survive. All of that broke her into a cold conqueror who wanted to take back what's hers and demanded justice.

I think it was implied Elsa could be a global threat if given time but all that power doesn't mean Elsa herself is invincible. Temperament and experience play a role. Case in point Elsa was nearly killed by those two guards and if Hans hadn't intervened Elsa would have been killed.

Watch the scene again before the guy levels the crossbow at Elsa, when they switch to him just before he goes to the guy he looks up to the chandelier. Even if we (the viewers) didn't know that Hans was bad/evil that doesn't prevent the story from showing it in subtle ways. It even reinforces it.

Also, even if he didn't know if killing her would stop, it's logical that if you kill/destroy something that started a reaction, it would stop. So he just tried to kill her by 'accident' and when that didn't work he showed his colors to Anna.

This scene was the first big clue Hans wasn't what he presented himself as, but it's still ambiguous at the time. Hans very clearly notices the chandelier, but he doesn't actually shoot the crossbow - he REDIRECTS the shot by shoving the guards arm. It's a great split-second decision by Hans. He can take out Elsa without murdering her - in fact he can claim to be the bigger person by saying he tried to save her and what ensued was just an unfortunate accident. Then not only is he a hero to Arendelle, he's a kind and magnanimous leader. This is pretty important to him, he's all about the image. He doesn't just want to seize power, he wants the people to adore him.

He's a fantastic villain. That's why I cringe everytime someone gushes on how he's just some poor misunderstood wobbie who ought to get a redemption storyline. Just...no. Let him be a self-serving sociopathic bastard. It's the only thing that makes him interesting. Or relevant.

And that it seems her powers are more accurately cryokinetic than "ice" meaning that she can do cool shit like create near absolute zero temperature zones and shatter anyone instantly. Has anyone read any of those "Elsa in WWII" fics? I stumbled across one called "Ice and Iron" the other day, and it was pretty cool. Especially since it gave me "elsanna vibes" as some people in the comments said.

The premise is that Elsa is immortal and she is blackmailed/bribed by the Nazis to help them defeat Russia. It seems really cool. They said they can resurrect Anna from the dead and stuff. I really hope the author finishes it.

Maybe it's just my yuri goggles, but it seems to me like most of the time when I see Frozen merchandise it is of Elsa and Anna together.
Next comes the two girls with Olaf to one side,
then the two with Kristoff (often with Sven and Olaf) to the side,
then Anna and Kristoff together with Elsa to one side (sometimes with Hans next to her), being the least often of social combinations.
I haven't really counted merchandise with just one of them on it.
A cute bowl in my kitchen has Anna together with Olaf on it.

Can't remember most of it, but after reading I don't know how many Frozen fanfics when the movie was first coming out, I almost attempted to write my own.

The real question is if little girls around the world and their parents would want to buy billion worth of merchandise of a lesbian Ice Queen?

Keeping status quo as Elsa rules the kingdom but is not paired with anyone while Anna marries Kristoff and Olaf also get a gf seems to be the general route they will take it.

But also introducing some evil plot is needed for such type of work so maybe Elsa will get a female villain this time she can make good and then bond with of course as a friend.

And girls would get another female doll to buy and put dresses on. Latino market is quite big so I wouldn't be surprised if they really added some Latino lady at this point, or Asian looking one.

For me the cotton emphasizes winter, as well as the frosty nature of the queen.
This is purely subjective, but I think these designs would appeal more to women than to men, which is fine with me. Men will like them regardless because the characters are girls.

That's not quite right. The problem with them is that they have to be board appropriate; i.e. not male. So it can limit what's postable. However thank you for considering it. Also depending on frequency it could be construed as a solo dump which is a grey area. The board has had reaction threads before, though it's been a while.

Come to think of it I did watch the Hercules TV Series and it felt more like a prequel about teenage Hercules growing up before the events of the movie.

TV series wasn't bad but it lacked the emotional touch of the feature film. Movie was about Hercules growing up, finding a sense of belonging and self and trying to live up to his Father. In the TV series, Hercules already arguably had a sense of belonging, he had friends and spent every episode goofing around.
