It started out very promising and nice but the limiters shit really pissed me off. Obviously they'll need to go over the limiters every time they fight. Why did the writers felt like they need to remove the fun? A's didn't have those and it was awesome.
Also where's the whole yuri part? I think you need some pretty thick yuri goggles to even ship Nanoha and Fate together. I think there was a shot where they might have been preparing to share a bed at the start of Strikers but I doubt it.

Why must every squad be equal? Newbies should have their own squad and handle stuff they can handle while veterans need to either have their own squads or just work independently and decide themselves if they need some help.
Otherwise newbies don't see a point in improving because they'll just be limited more and veterans stuffer because when shit hits the fan they can't even protect the newbies on the same squad.

This is the type of shit that really gets me, some idiot politicians without any clue all agree this is a great idea and make it a law and then everything goes to hell. Seen this happen way too many times in real life and fiction. Can't watch this show anymore.

Nanoha and Fate are more versatile and would always beat her one on one (or have better chance on any high-powered target one on one), because Hayate isn'T so good at normal combat, the absolute nuking power of Hayate just exceeds anything (except other abominations, like stuff like Cradle and so on).

Also the limiters are indeed there to prevent harm. If you have a superpowered mage in some unit, it becomes way powerful than many other parts of the armed forces, even much bigger ones, because S class mages are rare. Such unit could basically stage a rebellion and do a lot of damage, or destroy a planet or two, if somebody got crazy.

It is common sense to have such weapons under control, like you have some strict control over nukes in USA. Nobody is just left with full power because he(she is trusted enough. Well, except if you vote in potentially crazy president. But that is a separate problem.

Fate/Vivio/Hayate getting saved and so on. Also reason why I don't hate just seeing them relaxing and settling down happily, now.

Honestly, amongst all the whining you have in Nanoha threads, I didn't really have complains. Vivid was fine by me, Force I hated the Huckebeins portrayal but was fine with the manga itself. Innocent, OK, I don't like the remakish nature and turning Aces into VR game newbs, but I read it and can relax.

But this destroying of Einhart, that got me. Now I feel the dperessing feeling of disappointment, loss and knowing that the stuff went to hell and it is not in your power to change it. Probably what those other anons felt with all the gripes they have.

If the manga now ends on that note, that will leave a really bad taste. I've read it since 2012 I think and over quite a difficult time (some cancer, some depressions, you know how world looks now,low paying job) and getting "betrayed" wrt Vivio-Einhart feels way worse than it should.

As much as I love Nanoha/Fate, that doesn't preclude me from liking Fuuka/Rinne. Those two have a classic Nanoha relationship.

While I do wish Nanoha and Fate got some moments together in Vivid Strike, I'm glad they finally dropped the useless bloated cast from Strikers.
The perfect sequel would have an equal mix of Nanoha/Fate, Vivio/Einhart and Fuuka/Rinne.
