More details of the Kanonji collaboration are out. Main ones are the life sized panels and special location posters that were already revealed, a stamp rally and a special map showing where the areas featured in the anime are. The first 3000 people who bring all 6 character stamps to the community centre (between January 28th and February 26th) get one of the badges pictured as a reward.

So I'm reading the 2ch YuYuYu thread and some people there seem to think the reason the Vertex re-attacked 300 years later is actually because of Yuuna - the heavenly gods saw that she got reborn and realised the heroes were being rebuilt so they attacked. Thoughts?

Also interesting - apparently NoWaYu has 8 "keywords", and Aki is one of them - she's a lot more minor and unimportant than the other 7 and stands out, which leads 2ch anons to believe that maybe she is actually important and Aki-sensei will have an important role to play in S2, possibly appearing in the YuYuYu part as well as the only adult Taisha rep with a face.

My initial reaction was to dismiss the idea because of what Sonoko said about the seeds, since I don't know how the seeds could work with the theory if they worked by putting out the fire and 'growing' fresh land for humans to colonise like we've been assuming, but if all the seeds do is expand the Shinju's barrier or something then I could see this actually being the case. Come to think of it, it'd go a long way to explaining why they made a big deal of showing the world being pointedly not on fire in chapters 10-11; as it is now it seems like it was nothing more than a way to shove in some apocalyptic scenery and have a road trip chapter before setting the world on fire in the end because they had to. I'm liking this idea more and more.

The threads are so quiet. I know that a lot of discussion until now was speculation, but do we really have nothing to discuss about the ending and/or how it'll tie in with S2? How do you reckon they'll end up incorporating NoWaYu into the story in the end; possible flashbacks or just Yuna and Sonoko talking about things? I'm hoping for the former and expecting the latter.

Also, do you think we'll get to see Takashima and Yuki meet inside the Shinju or that only one of them can exist at a time? I'd like an interaction between them, especially if they were at odds about something.

I hope that the new series isn't a brand new setting and cast, they had enough trouble getting people to care about NoWaYu even with Yuna and Sonoko's ancestor in the cast. I think that they'd be stretching themselves too thin if it was set in Okinawa/Hokkaido like the Japs are speculating.

Thanks heaps to everyone who worked on this, especially the guy who hacked the game and made those cool tools for editing the scripts.

To install, just download the game from the link in the pastebin and replace the script.dat with this one. If you have problems running the game let me know.

I translated the untranslated scenarios, including the intro, and some of the mouseover popup messages. There are also some small edits to all of the other translations, and some significant changes to the translation for "Sonoko-samas Sanshuu Middle School Debut" since the present one had some major issues.

I'm going to leave this here overnight, so you guys can let me know if there are any problems I missed or any possible improvements, and then put together a "finished" pre-patched version and put it on nyaa.

The 2nd VN runs for me! I downloaded the new script.dat and replaced the one in the YukiYunaS folder after downloading it from pastebin. It said it couldn't run because sarcheck.dll was missing but after I went and downloaded that and placed it in my Windows folder, everything runs fine. I couldn't get it to work when I changed my region to Japan though for some reason.

The Yuusha spent all of autumn recovering from their Sange. These are more likely indeed the Mass Production Types we have been waiting for. The girls from the secret list of "around 100" who they did not have enough terminals for as Sonoko was hogging 21 yousei.
If it begins in early Autumn Yuuna is still in a coma and no one yet knows how quickly the Yuusha will recover so probably they are the guard against the Vertex recovering before the Yuusha do.
Probably not going to be a long series. Most likely ust a way of introducing, and getting us to like, characters some of whom are probably going to die horribly in the coming year.
