So there are 2 episodes left. Next one is going to be Ruble & co fighting the horseman thing. Ends with Ren sacrificing himself or some shit. Finale is 100% focused on Jaune, with some Blake shoehorned in because Miles is still hung up over his ex. Weiss and Yang are nowhere to be found and the writers finally admit that they hated giving either of them screentime, and neither will be appearing in the rest of the series.

At the next RTX, they announce that they are finally going to stop beating around the bush and redub the series as "The Jaune Show." I didn't forget about Tai's speech at all. In fact, this is one instance I would be happy for her to burn too hot again, if only to solidify his words. One last act before beginning her "too cold" character because she "let her emotions hurt someone she cares about." Besides, aura would make it so that the damage isn't too severe, the scene would more or less be Yang venting her frustration with Blake's "I need to do things on my own" attitude.

To be fair RWBY has only recently been directly and indirectly (and literally) killing /u/ potential. Of our remaining female leads (rip Pyrrha): one appears to be asexual (or robosexual rip Penny), one is confirmed Rensexual, and the remaining three are either straight or bisexual leaning mostly to men. There is /u/ potential in the side characters and villains of course, but I don't imagine most fans are looking for their gay girls potential in them. The hopes and dreams of the trailers and Volume 1 are long dead now.

That said, these threads will always be around. Worst case scenario they grind down to the snail pace of the rest of the board, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Even as a BB shipper I don't look forward to the possible influx of shitposters into these threads if Miles and Kerry are mad enough to make it canon.

This is why the "split the group" trope sucks shit. I came to watch 4 girls being goofy together, killing shit together, and loving each other (together). Instead I got absolutely zero of of two of those, and a whole 3 fights in 10 episodes.

You just know the writers are never going to fully reunite them for good either. They're gonna think they're being so deep and innovate saying things like "they each have their own stories and things they need to take care of." Sure they'll see each other occasionally, but never for long because lolplot.

My prediction is RWBY is fully reassembled only for the final hurrah against Salem in Volume 6 and then split up again for aforementioned reasons.

The Dissonance Trilogy (Innocence/Vengeance/Repentance) is a very good one. The best in my opinion, really. It rewrites the show post-Breach, and sticks to the canon world otherwise.
White Rose of Vermilion is a medieval AU which is also exceptionally well written. It also updates slower than the Constitution, though.

I could never find a source for that spreadsheet so I remade it a week ago and started updating it with new episodes, though my numbers are a little different from what anon posted earlier. Probably going to be the first volume where Ruby didn't have the most lines.
